How does all this work?
It's very simple. If you have a website you can add a link or graphic which takes people either to JollyAndUseful.co.uk in general, or to one of our products or categories of products. If somebody clicks this link on your site and then, when visiting our site, they buy something, you get a percentage of whatever they spend. It's really that simple. It costs nothing to join the affiliate scheme, so if you have a website and you think the people who visit it might also be interested in visiting our shop, you've nothing to lose by joining and everything to gain!
What's the catch?
There isn't one.
No, really, what's the catch?
Seriously, there isn't one. Think about it. Sure, the affiliate programme means that we have to give you a share of whatever we make when you bring a customer to our site, but it's very likely that without your help in bringing them they would never have become a customer in the first place and we would have got nothing. It's better for us to have most of something rather than all of nothing, isn't it?
How do I know I'll get paid?
There's no way a business can run with bad publicity. It's very much in our interests not to annoy you. Don't worry - you'll get paid.
How will I get paid?
We will either send you a cheque or pay the money into your PayPal account. It's your choice.
Hmm, that's an interesting spelling of the word "check" - do you only take affiliates in Britain?
Not at all. Although we're based in Britain we ship at excellent rates all over the world. A lot of what we sell is difficult to find in other countries and we have many transactions from overseas, so no matter where you are, you're welcome to be an affiliate. We even offer a banner with the name .com as well as one saying .co.uk, better to show our global credentials. We'll still call it a cheque, though...
When will I get paid?
Payments are handled monthly. If, at the end of a month, you have earnt more than £25 in affiliate fees, we pay you. If you have earnt less than this, whatever you have earnt rolls over to the next month. This keeps going until your earnings have added up to £25 or more, when we pay you.
