Jolly and Useful's affiliates programme gives you money for bringing customers to our site. If you have a website and the people who visit it are likely to find our site interesting (for example, if your website attracts parents, pet owners or people who might be looking for gifts), you can join our affiliate scheme for free. We give you a choice of buttons and banner adverts to display on your website and these include a personalized link to our site. When somebody comes to our site from yours and makes a sale, we make a note that they came to us from you. We then pay you for having brought that customer to us. Nice eh? Hopefully you can see the rationale behind this, as it's a simple business principle: if you bring somebody to us and they buy something, that's a sale we probably wouldn't have got otherwise and so we're happy to pay you for it.

Jolly and Useful is a memorable brand with a clear identity and attractive product range. Our market is family-oriented and so a desirable sector with which to be associated. Our policy of fast, friendly service and no-nonsense business dealings also contributes to our being an affiliate partner capable of bringing kudos to your website, as well as revenue.

The other reason to affiliate with J&U is that there's really no work involved. You sign up, copy a couple of lines of HTML code to your website and then sit back and wait for the money to arrive. Seriously: you never need do anything again to gain from being an affiliate. We take care of all the work.

You can link to us in various ways. For example, you can have a general banner or button graphic on your site simply pointing people to JollyAndUseful. Alternatively, you can link to a specific category of products or to a specific item we sell (known as deep-linking). So you could, if you wished, add a line to your website saying "My nephew has really been enjoying eating off his Maisy Mouse plate recently" with a link to our Maisy Mouse plate that registers your involvement.

A lot of other websites run affiliate schemes which involve complex multi-level payment systems. These frankly smell of pyramid-selling schemes to our simple noses. Therefore the J&U affiliate scheme is totally simple and up-front. If your website refers a customer to ours and they then buy something, you get 10% of what they spend. Just like that - no messing, no tricks, no gimmicks. Our affiliate tracking system uses cookies, so that if you refer someone to us but they leave our site and come back and buy something later, the sale is still credited to you. We pay you monthly provided your earnings reach the £25 level. If you earn less than £25 in a month, the balance just rolls over to the next month until you have earnt £25 at which point we pay you. (Although we're a British company and work in Pounds Sterling, we're happy to have affiliates based in other countries.)
