Jolly and Useful Postage and Returns Information

International delivery
We wouldn't want our overseas friends to feel left out, so the cost of delivery to the rest of the world is as cheap as we can possibly make it. Whereas some shops charge you a hefty flat fee for international postage, no matter what you've ordered, our shipping price is based simply on the weight of your goods and makes us no profit at all; indeed, we generally lose money on the packages we send (but we'd rather do that than lose your custom!). You can see how much the shipping for your order will cost as soon as you've added items to your shopping cart. Just click the "Shopping cart" link then click the "Estimate postage" button.

Also, don't forget that when we're delivering outside the European Union we will remove 17.5% UK tax from the listed prices at the checkout. Be sure to consider this when comparing our prices!

Posting procedure
You will receive a confirmatory email from us as soon as we receive your order and another when your goods are sent out. We normally send out UK orders using Royal Mail First Class or Parcel Post (as appropriate) and for overseas orders we use Royal Mail Airmail. If you want other delivery arrangements, such as couriers with order tracking, then please get in touch and we'll be happy to arrange this for you.

We aim to dispatch your items within three working days, and usually we are so very efficient we get them in the post the same day you order! We tend to find that UK shipments arrive the day after they are sent, shipments to the US take about 2-3 days, and shipments to Australia and New Zealand take about 5 days. We will inform you if we expect the dispatch of your order to take more than three or four days, and be assured that this very rarely happens.

We try to take every care with our deliveries and so are happy for you to return items if they are faulty or are not what you ordered (and we'll refund your postage too!).

Final order dates for Christmas
We're REALLY sorry to start mentioning the "C" word in September, but as retailers we have to think ahead for the benefit of our overseas customers! We've had a little word with Royal Mail and here are our final order dates for people who want goods to arrive in time for Christmas:

United Kingdom
Last order date is 18 December.

International orders
South and Central America, Africa, Middle East, Asia (except Japan), New Zealand, and Australia: last order date 7 December.
Japan, USA, Canada, and Eastern Europe: last order date 9 December.
Western Europe: last order date 12 December.

It is possible that orders made after these dates will reach you in time for Christmas, but we cannot guarantee that such orders will be in the post before the Royal Mail's final posting dates.
